its a 92 4cyl. Been sitting couple years, turns over, wont crank

just got the trk, dnt knw much about it, previous owner said it quit running & sat for about 2 yrs. Its getting fire, turns over ok, just wont crank. Also put new plugs in it. Even tried a little either, still didnt hit a lick.Help please

the starter turns just fine, plus got new battery. Im starting to think that its jumped time. Anybody eles ? ? Please
i was wrong, its only been parked about a year, THE STARTER & WIRES TO & FROM IT ARE OK, IT TURNS OVER JUST FINE, Im starting to think it may have jumped time, it should have at least backfired when i shot that either in there, wile cranking, Thoughts? Please.
