1996 Paseo. Auto gearbox seems to be slipping at high revs. why is this?

Problem occurs in reverse also, doesn't seem to be engaging the gearbox well. Feels like its slipping. car has not been serviced for a long time though.. does the gear box need a complete overall or is it another problem. thanks

Don't keep slipping it! Have the trans. serviced, it might help.

yep no worries. Ive noticed when it warms up the problem becomes a lot less. is that normal for a gear box problem?

That's just another sign it needs to be serviced! Fluid and filter needs to be changed.
