Diagnosed as a retarded camshaft for a 2009 Toyota Matrix

Hello, "red" oil light usually means low oil pressure. This is not likely due to a timing issue and likely due to an oil pressure / level issue. The rumbling noise could be internal engine noise. I would have this looked at by a trained tech before running the engine further.
