What is your question?
Problem first occurred while driving, GPS fell from dashboard and its wiring wrapped around the steering wheel. Dashboard lights go from normal brightness, dim, then not at all and return to normal all intermittingly, day or night when driving. When it occurred first the horned would not sound too but that is now resolved. Presently the CD sometimes skips when playing. AC, radio, work properly.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! It sounds like your Matrix is experiencing electrical issues, likely due to the wiring mishap with the GPS. The intermittent dashboard lights and CD skipping could be related to a loose or damaged wire somewhere in the system. Given that the GPS wiring wrapped around the steering wheel, it’s possible that wires were pinched or damaged. Check the wiring around the steering column and dashboard to ensure everything is properly connected and undamaged. If necessary, have a technician inspect the electrical system to make sure there are no short circuits or damaged components causing these issues.
