Return to dealer for warranty repair!

When the check engine lamp comes on Toyota will usually disable the trac control and Lo range to protect the engine. The jerking you feel is what has the check engine lamp on. It could be a simple misfire caused by a bad plug, or as bad as internal engine problems. That needs to be looked at soon. John Miller Freedom Automotive Auto Mojo Radio Show
