What is your question?
I bought the car with 40,000 Lexus dealer verified miles on it. In a matter of days I noticed a few drops of oil on my garage floor. Concerned about it I immediately took it to Daytona Toyota, roughly 9 months ago. They claimed the transmission main seal was leaking and repaired. When we got it back low and behold the engine still leaked a few drops directly underneath the front of the engine. We returned it a second time, and a third time. And each time the leaks MULTIPILED. Until they were not only brown, but also black and green and believe it or not--PINK! My wife and I are in our 70's (4 and 6) but we aren't Senile (yet0 and now Daytona Toyota wants $4,700 to repair the "Oil Pan". Even though we have only driven the car 5,000 miles in the last 9 months and have never damaged the undercarriage or hit anything that could have possibly damaged this Oil Pan. Moreover your website estimated such a repair for this make and model would be 2,200,
How long has your 2019 Toyota Highlander had this problem?
9 months

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I am reading your concern and I am agreeing with your skepticism and frustration. I would definitely suggest obtaining a second opinion. Your fluid colors of brown black green and pink seem to represent multiple different fluids and possibly multiple different leaks. Pink fluid is often the color of transmission fluid, depending on just how pink we are talking. It could also be contaminated fluid. It sounds like you have used the Estimator tool here on RepairPal. That's a good baseline. I would have another shop check for the source of your leakage. There is a little guesswork when it comes to fluid leaks unless it is in an obscure area. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
