only 10000 miles 2017 highlander is whining while decelerating. sounds like an emergency truck's whistle winding down....

It's best to bring it to the dealer for warranty work. You do not want to attempt a repair here since its going to be covered. I suggest calling a tow truck if you don't feel comfortable driving it. Alex
It could be as simple as a plastic bag stuck in the drivetrain somewhere but a visual inspection under the vehicle is required to determine that for sure. Alex
Mine was doing this during accelerating & deceleration, took it in & it's something with the transmission. It's dangerous. Wouldn't let me drive it home. Already had it in the shop for over a week. Just hoping they get it fixed!!!
