Cooling

Hi this is Bo, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team. When the engine is completely cooled off, check the tightness of the radiator cap. Also, check the fluid level in the reservoir. If the coolant is low, the radiator cap may be loose or have failed allowing coolant to spray all over the engine bay when the system is fully under pressure. Also when the engine is cooled completely, check the radiator hose clamp where they meet the radiator and the engine block if you're comfortable doing that. Otherwise it should be take to a shop for a pressure test. Also, pay close attention to your temperature light to make sure it's not overheating.
