How often needs oil transmission to be change

Hello, in the owner's guide, "regular" maintenance does not have a replacement interval -- so it is suggested it's OK for "life". In "Severe Duty", it is suggested to be replaced every 60,000 miles. I tend to recommend going with the "severe" schedule to be safe, so changing at 60,000 miles seems reasonable.
