the heater control knob on my highlander Toyota is not working. I went on

I saw a video on youtube but my circuit board is different from the one shown on youtube. The 3 points that you soldered are different. My husband looked at them and they were touching each other. So he separated them and put it back and it worked, the heat and a/c are fine. You see my board is the same size but everything on it is much smaller and a lot more on it. I would love to see MY board on line to see how everything is supposed to be in case I have another problem. I don't know where to look.

I am uncertain how to attach a picture --but I have a picture of mine with the area circled still on file-- my board was pretty small-- I have an 02--I have no idea if they changed the design in 3 yrs -- but I congratulate you for taking the board out and getting it fixed--If I find the blog site I got my infor on --I 'll send the link.

I'd appreciate that very much. By the way all my husband did was straighten the points. All is fine. It is snowing really hard today and we went out and it worked fine. This might help someone else.
