Looking into buying this vehicle at Toyota lot. Salesman says it's a 4WD, but yet it has no buttons to engage it into 4WD. Anyone know if this is really a 4WD and does it perform like a regular 4WD vehicle?

If there are no buttons for 4WD then that usually means that it is AWD all the time. I have known some people who have them and they are as typically reliable as most Toyotas. The AWD eats the gas though, ( as does any AWD car, ) so I would not get the AWD unless I really needed it
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BECOME A MASTER ON THIS SITE? MUST BE EASY OR YOU RUN THIS SITE... IT ACTUALLY IS 4WD, IF IT WERE AWD ALL 4 TIRES WOULD SPIN @ ALL TIMES. THIS PARTICULAR SYSTEM USES TORQUE MANAGEMENT THROUGH THE CENTER DIFFERENTIAL. IT IS PRIMARILY FRONT WHEEL DRIVE UNTIL THE FRONT END SLIPS, THE REAR THEN ENGAGES. HENCE 4WD!
