2003 toyota highlander power steering crank - estimated cost?

power steering fluid keeps going away, battery light coming on after newer battery put in, changed alternator and now it seems same problems are repeating - tried putting in stop leak for powersteering - i am thinking something like crank and/or rack and pinion help - car is like squeaking and brakes seem to be pulling
What makes this problem better or worse?
