Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Sounds like your Highlander’s instrument cluster is doing its best disappearing act—works one minute, gone the next, like it's on a coffee break. If everything powers down when you turn the car off but comes back with a battery reset, you might be dealing with a flaky power or ground connection. Check the fuses and wiring first; they could be playing hide and seek. If that’s all good, your instrument cluster might be giving you its final curtain call. It's not uncommon for older clusters to call it quits after years of service.
