How do I remove rear brake drums, so I can change rear brake shoes?

ITS MOST LIKELY RUSTED ON HIT THE CENTER WHERE AXLE HUB IS WITH A HAMMER AND IT SHOULD BREAK FREE FROM THE RUST

make sure you release the parking brake

take nrubber plug out of backing plate, use a flat head screwdriver to stick in hole and move self adjusting cog to free up pressure on shoes,which in turn releases pressure on drumb, and , yup they come off, dont forget to lightly grease up the cog inside when you take shoes off, pull appart cog assembly, it is self adjusting and needs to be free to move, lightly grease, "right", and reset it close to tight when you put new shoes and drumb on.
