Would replacing your airbag mess with your TCMU?

I recently took my car into the dealership to have my airbag replaced because of a recall. Since then it has been stalling and has a low idle. I took it to O'reilly's to test my battery and then my alternator. They ran a diagnostic and said it was one of my main wires TCMU or ECM(?) that are messed up. I'm wondering if when the airbag was replaced if maybe a wire got bumped or something. Is this possible? Or am I reaching?
