oil drain plug gasket

Hi, I just bought a Toyota Corolla 11 S. And I get free 2 years Toyota Care maintanance. But I'm curious about Oil drain plug gasket. Do we need to change oil drain plug gasket? Coz as far as I know when I change engine oil, I just change engine oil and Oil filter. This is for my reference when I change engine oil with private mechanic. Do I need to tell them to change oil drain plug gasket as well. Thank you very much for your help.
