While normal driving, (50 mph), engine suddenly shudders, bucks, wants to stop.

Several, dash warning lights began to illuminate when the problem started (chk engine, oil, skid control off, VSS?? inoperative). Upon pulling off road, engine idling rough, then smooth out, still some rough, otherwise seems normal. engine analyzer indicates multiple misfiring, nothing else. Oil and coolant OK, no smoke, engine temp OK, no excessive heat, no fluid leaks, no unusual engine noises, no fire. Upon trying to drive again, the engine refuses to accelerate affectively. Mystery problem, nothing that's obvious!?!?!?

What makes this problem better or worse?

No apparent differnece, cold, or hot

While driving normal, all seemed normal, it happened suddenly, I emediately pulled over.
