Can bad cv axles appear to be broken motor mounts?

I was told I had bad cv axles and all four motor mounts were broken. Got the axle replaced and the engine seems to be moving around much less. Is it possible the broken axles caused enough movement and made it look like the mounts were broken? Not even sure if these two are connect that closely.
