Throttle body cleaning

Can I spray throttle body cleaner into the intake of a 2005 Toyota Corolla past the mass air flow sensor with the engine running so that the cleaner gets sucked into the entire throttle body and intake? I have been debating doing this for a while but want to make sure it is safe to do so and no risks of damaging anything with spraying throttle body cleaner into the throttle body while the engine is running.
