Can you purchase camshaft position sensor from salvage yard

Probably,maybe. "IF" that is your problem. There are 2 different 1.8L engines for that car and the cam sensors are different on each one. when you go to looking for one,look at your vin#.the 8th digit of your vin# will either be an R or Y. if you find one at the scrap yard,be sure the donor car has the same 8th digit letter as yours,an R or Y!
