Heating problems

What is your question?

My heater isn't working properly. Replaced thermostat, but it didn't fix problem. It is blowing hot air out of driver's side vents. The passenger side vents are blowing out cool air and not much air at all. I live in Illinois and winter is coming very shortly and I drive 80 miles a day. This problem needs to be fixed immediately. What could the problem be????
