2001 corolla starts then dies after a few seconds

Hi, I replaced the air intake manifold gasket hoping to cure a p0171 code I've had for months and now my car will start but will idle rough and die after a few seconds. It will stay running if I keep my foot on the gas but then gasoline (could also be water) will come out of the muffler and form a puddle (it's not only a few drops). I have quadruple checked that I reconnected everything, and did an extensive check yesterday to make sure I didn't accidentally disconnect any lines while replacing the gasket and I couldn't find anything out of order. Since the issue resulting from the gasket change I've replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel strainer, Mass air flow sensor, spark plugs (they were carbon fouled). And I replaced both 02 sensors not long ago. I'm not sure what to do next. Any help is appreciated.
