What is your question?
1)To start there is no check engine lite! 2)Starts good when engine and air temp is cold...takes several tries when engine is warm. 3)When air temp is warm engine stalls at low RPM. When air temp is cold...OK. 4)Loss of power in lower gears..A/trans. 5)Sometimes engine will die after first start on warm day. When air temp is cold engine runs almost normal, except when trying to restart warm engine. Takes several tries. I am thinking it is one of the many sensors, but which one? Thank You,

Your car has On Board Diagnostics level 2 (OBD2). OBD2 has good diagnostic capabilities. It monitors sensor performance pretty well but as with all manufacturers they don't flag a problem and set a Check Engine light until they are required to turn on the check engine light. This being said, start with the basics, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, clean the throttle body, adjust the valves (shim adjusted valves on this engine). After the basics are confirmed, a scan tool with Toyota enhanced capabilities has lots of vital information. With a scan tool you can read fuel trim values( long and short term), O2/Air Fuel ratio sensor, air flow into the engine, coolant temperature and air temperature can be all have there values read directly from the scan tool screen. Idle air control, the value of air flow in to the engine (monitored by air flow meter) is critical, a slow responding air flow meter or O2/Air Ratio sensor, an inaccurate engine coolant temperature switch are key sensors. Scan tool information to read sensors and something called Mode 6 diagnosis read from the scan tool is the most efficient way of getting to the bottom of your drivability problem once you ensured the basics are OK.
