My friend burned my clutch out while I let him use my car (kicking myself in the ass now) I really don't know how much that runs. What kind of charges will I have buying the parts and doing it myself or maitenance at an auto shop? THANKS

A shop will charge about $800 for labor (approx. 8 hrs.). Parts will be about 200-300, including clutch pad, cover and flywheel. If the flywheel can be polished up, it is usually slightly cheaper than having to buy a new one.
