Toyota automatic transmissions are very reliable. Newer Toyotas use a synthetic fluid they call WS that "doesn't need to be changed". Your transmission I would drive the car get the trans oil hot drain it remove the trans oil pan inspect for debris, change the trans filter reseal and refill transmission every 30,000 miles.
