driverside door locks with key but will not unlock

Are you inserting the key into the cylinder on the door or are we talking about remote unlocking? If its not unlocking with inserting the key the lock cylinder may be damaged or needs lubrication. You can start by protecting the paint with a rag and spraying wd-40 or similar in to the key hole. Alex
