your system could have a bad spot in harness were all lighting wires are in same harness and something got hot and melted a few wires together. fog lights original or installed later. aftermarket fog lights could carry a lot of amps and if wrong size wiring installed that may cause a lot of heating and melt wiring. This is only a guess and needs to have a certified tech look at it.
