radiator keeps losing fluid and blowing the cap.

Do you see white smoke out the tail pipe, Could have a leak into the combustion chamber. (i.e. blown head gasket, intake gasket)

Sounds like a stuck thermostat that isn't opening to allow circulation or a blown head gasket. Replace thermostat first then do a compression check. Compression could be leaking into cooling system.
