What is your question?
No problem at all when parked, 2 hrs later 3 month old battery was dead, also it was hot, so I disconnected it quickly. I then took the wires off of the alt. and starter. The smaller wire on the pos. terminal that feeds the fuse block is directly shorted to ground. Seems as I ck for burnt wires, most are grnded. Must be a serious short somewhere, yeah? If anyone has any helpful ideas it would be greatly appreciated, Thank you!

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Electrical shorts in cars are the worst! It sounds like you're on top of it, though! Start by visually inspecting the wiring harnesses, especially where they pass through tight spaces or near moving parts like the engine or suspension. Look for signs of melted insulation, exposed wires, or areas where wires may be pinched or chafed. Use a multimeter to test continuity and check for shorts between wires and ground. This process may require patience and thoroughness, but systematically checking each section of the wiring harness can help locate and resolve the short. Consulting a professional mechanic or auto electrician with experience in electrical diagnostics may be necessary to pinpoint and repair the issue effectively. Good luck!
