can i put an engine block from a '97 camry on a'95 celica g.t.? r they the same?

puchased a reman engine for my 95' celica. engine block is from '97 camry. manufacturer says the camry block is identical to the celica. Hes telling me to have holes drilled into the block because the bracket for the c.v. axles does not line up =(
