Toyota Owner: Deleting the EGR would probably do more harm than good, in terms of overall performance, because the OEM fuel strategy, or mapping, is tuned for a functioning EGR system. Without the input of the EGR Gasses into the combustion process, the cylinder temperature will be too high, and will lack the beneficial turbulence provided by EGR operation, and the ignition timing that is also determined by the EFI computer will not be correct for the conditions you sill have caused, not to mention the fact that removing emissions systems is illegal. Does the supplier of this aftermarket throttle body provide an adapter to allow EGR ?
