Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. So sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. It sounds like your Camry might have a brake system issue. If the brake pedal goes all the way down and makes a "whooshing" sound, it could be due to a brake fluid leak, air in the brake lines, or a failing brake master cylinder. First, check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. If it's low, there might be a leak in the system. Look for any signs of fluid around the wheels or under the car. If the fluid level is okay, air could be trapped in the brake lines, requiring the system to be bled. There could also be damaged or worn seals in the brake master cylinder or ABS unit. These issues can seriously affect braking performance and safety, so addressing them quickly is important.
