Glove box stuck shut. Only a few items in it. How can I get or pry it open?

My glove box is not locked, never has been. Yet it won’t open. There’s really not much in it, the problem is not that it’s overstuffed. Trying to lock, unlock has not worked. Lock is not jammed. Thanks for any suggestions.
