What is your question?
I have a 2012 Camry XLE that has 185,000 miles on it. Recently the car has been jerking when I accelerate. I guess the best way to describe it is that the car feels like its losing speed for a second and then jerks forward. This happens more in colder weather than it does in warmer weather (I don't know if that matters or not.) This usually occurs in slower acceleration and around 25 to 35 mph and doesn't always happen. I was researching and saw I can get an OBDII Scan for free at a autoshop. The OBD II scan came up with these two codes: C1241 Low or high Power Supply Voltage and C1237 Speed Sensor and Rotor Faulty. I guess my questions are would either of these codes especially the C1237 code cause my vehicle to jerk/slip when accelerating? Does this sound like a textbook transmission failure? Does a C1241 code such as a low voltage battery cause my car to feel that jerking motion which I didn't think it would but again found online it can which seems odd.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Colder weather
How long has your 2012 Toyota Camry had this problem?

Hi, I'm Bogi, one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Thanks for all the information, that’s extremely helpful. The codes that you are getting on your 2012 Camry could definitely cause the symptoms you are describing. Todays cars are incredibly sensitive to voltage dips or spikes, so it is possible that you have either a weak battery or a failing charging system that has caused that code to set in your Anti-Lock Brake System. Your other code relates to a wheel speed sensor that your ABS module has lost signal from or is getting an implausible signal from. Based on your codes I don’t suspect a transmission issue. I would attempt to get those codes fully diagnosed and repaired to see it if resolves your symptoms.
