What causing car to cut off when you stop , but if you put in neutral and press gas pedal it doesn’t cut off , and it always start back up

No check engine lights are on , otherwise the car rides good, but it cuts off every time you stop at stoplight or stop sign , but starts right back up

What makes this problem better or worse?

Worse the more you drive it
