Trans issues 2009 toy camry 4 cyl lurcbes at rec light,bucks when driving,just started today

Transmission on 09 Toyota Camry with 200,000 miles has started bucking at stop lights and shifts into high gear intermittently on the freeway. At one point the check engine light started blinking and then went off and later came on again and went off again

What makes this problem better or worse?
