What is your question?
My 2009 Camry hybrid has a brake light on and Abs light. The Abs light has been on since I bought the car. We put on new control arms and when the caliber was removed and put back on, the brake light came on and stayed on. My brake light has been on since and I have been having trouble stopping as if certain tires brake or slip. It’s hard to get the brakes to work full capacity. It seems like the passenger side or driver side isn’t braking right. My abs light is on as well but my speedometer works just fine.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! When the brake light and ABS light team up, it's usually a sign that something in the brake system isn't quite right. Given that the ABS light was already on and now you're having trouble stopping, it's likely that the issue worsened when the brake caliper was removed and reinstalled. The brake light coming on could indicate low brake fluid or an issue with the brake system pressure, which could explain the difficulty you're having with braking. The caliper may not be seated correctly, or there might be air in the brake lines, causing uneven braking. I'd recommend checking the brake fluid level and bleeding the brake lines to ensure there's no air trapped. If that doesn't solve it, a closer look at the ABS system and calipers might be necessary to get you back to stopping smoothly and safely. Final thought: this is a safety issue! So, if you're uncomfortable working on the braking system, have it towed to a shop!
