What is your question?
Just picked my car up from the shop this morning and noticed my steering wheel buttons stopped working (volume up/down, next/previous track). My car died while I was driving it and turned out to be a bad alternator. Is there anything I could try to get the buttons working again?
How long has your 2007 Toyota Camry had this problem?

Check for any blown fuses. Those switches are powered by the steering wheel sliding contact -- also called a "cable reel" or "clockspring". This allows the driver to turn the steering wheel while maintaining power to the horn switch, the air bag, the steering wheel switches and so on. Do you have an air bag warning light staying on? Does your horn work? If the air bag light is off and the horn works fine, then you likely have a problem in the circuit of those switches. Check all fuses first. Certainly reach back out to that shop to let them know and perhaps they'll lend a hand out of courtesy to see if it's easily resolved.
