What is your question?
I have a sticky dash problem that was included in a 2007 Toyota Camry recall but my dash didn't have the problem at the time so I didn't have it replaced. Later it developed the sticky dash but Toyota would not fix it because that recall had expired.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Sun exposure causes it to become more shiny/sticky and causes a glare on my windshield and may emit dangerous fumes.
How long has your 2007 Toyota Camry had this problem?
Since early in 2017.

Hi this is Dusty, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Ugh, those dashboards do get quite sticky! Replacing the dashboard is straightforward, parts availability won't be though. Aftermarket solutions may not be an option, which would mean the part is only available from a Toyota dealer. For the most accurate quote, please visit repairpal.com/estimator Once you're there, simply enter your ZIP code, a few vehicle details, then you can search for Dashboard Replacement.
