My cruise control switch just stopped working on me after it randomly snapped out of place slightly and I put it bad into place. It used to work perfectly fine, but ever since it snapped out of place not only did it stop activating when I pressed the button, but it also made it a bit more rough to actually push it.
How long has your 2007 Toyota Camry had this problem?
A few days

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your Toyota Camry. Based on the information provided since the cruise control switch popped out of place and now it does not active the cruise since it was reinstalled and is rough to operate this usually indicates that the switch itself has failed internally to where the switch assembly will need to be replaced to resolve this concern. If the switch came apart or out of place on its own that is usually a good sign that something within the switch has failed and is causing this concern. I wish I had some better news to give you on this. If you’d like to find a trusted, certified repair shop in your area, you can check here: https://repairpal.com/certified.
