check engine light came on & next day started cutting out. It is intermmitent and at times the check engine light flashes. seems to flash when its running at its worst. 107,000 miles on it had it 2 years with no problems at all. Female with some knowledge but no money for shop and could use some advise.THANKS
Thank you!! Not sure of firing order but think cylinder 4 is if I'm standing facing the hood I see 3 coils in front which is actually the side, and number 4 would be in the center?? How do I clear check engine light or will it go off by itself once I replace coil and plug? Do I determine left side, right side from sitting in the car or standing in front? Facing the car I see belts to the left side, which would be the front of my engine. I'm used to Old School Chevy, not front wheel drive. Again Thank You!!!! I asked on a few sites and you are the only one to reply!!!!
I had code p0354 what I did to make sure what my problem was. I remove the spark plug on coil 4 and clean it. Clean #2 sparkplugs and clean #6 sparkplugs. Notet # 6 sparkplugs was heavy build up on plug. Use sand paper to clean bottom of plug. Note: I clean the first 3 plugs you get to under that plastic engine cover. Big difference in engine performance. I road like that for Month. No code Meaning your sparkplugs need to be change Frocky321
