The sunroof drains are located at each corner of the sunroof. I jack up the back of the car with a floor jack sun roof fully open poor water into the sunroof channel at each side front of the car, water should flow freely and exit under the car behind the front wheel arches. The jack up the front of the car pour water in the sunroof channel water should exit at each of the rear wheels if the sunroof drains are free and clear of debris. Perhaps during previous repair /adjustment of the roof "seam sealer" got disturbed and needs to be resealed.
