What is your question?
Water started leaking onto the carpet of the passenger floor of my car. I was told I had a clogged evaporator hose but that it was not covered under my warranty because the evaporator is still working. I was told that my evaporator just needed to be unclogged and that it was likely something that is stuck in the hose. What would the cost of that repair cost?

Turn air-conditioner on high, turn off recycled air switch. Believe it or not, all you have to do is buy a can of Lysol and spray it in the vents under the hood in front of the windshield. Let your car run for a few minutes upon using the whole entire can. It will eventually clean out the coil and stop leaking. It may take a few days for all the leaking to stop. A friend of mine owns a Toyota Corolla and she was told to do that and it really works. Toyota wanted to charge her $800.00 to fix it and it only cost her $ 5.00 for the can of Lysol. IT WILL WORK ! ! !
I honestly didn't do anything and the clog disappeared. I rode it out last summer because I got two quotes for about $800. I figured if the problem was still there this summer I'd fork out the cash, but the clog is gone and I haven't had any leaks :) I do turn the recycled air off sometimes, maybe that's what did it??? Thanks for replying :)
Glad it worked out for you but just in case it doesn't go away, you'll know what to do instead of trading off your car or paying for the next 2 Christmas's. Have a blessed day !
