What is your question?
my car have 55,000 miles on it, it has white smoke in the morning when i first start the car, the engine light has been on before, now is gone, cause i ignore it. Is the white smoke relate to the check engine light on, but t he smoke usually happen in the morning, the engine is so quiet, what is your opinion on the white smoke please?, thank you for your attention.

If the smoke is steam, then that is normal. If you had a problem with your engine, the coolant would be running out. Is the coolant running low a lot? How about the oil level? The Check Engine Light coming off and on can be several things. The fact that it is intermittent is good. it may be just a gas cap issue. I would have the code checked. It is impossible to say if the morning smoke or steam is related to the Engine Light until I know what the code is ( there are hundreds ). Is there any smell to the smoke or steam? Does it smell sweet ( coolant) or like burnt rubber ( oil ) ? Let me know.
Did you ever find an answer to this? My car does the same thing. Engine acts perfectly fine. thx
