You can get quite a bit of info about synthetic oil here www.mobil1.com but I run Mobile 1 in all of my muscle cars and daily drivers and still change it at 5 to 6 thousand miles because it gets real dirty and I want the maximum protection. Walmart has Mobile 1 in 5 quart jugs for about $25
