No other indications at all, red oil light flashes briefly at end of braking and only sometimes.
I happened to see this brief flash at stop and pulled over immediately. Oil level extremely low and leak apparent at horizontal seam outside valve cover gasket...
Why oil pressure warning light didn't come on and stay on... valve cover gasket replaced more than once....
What makes this problem better or worse?
