Cost to repair head gasket

The gasket is about $90, the labor is $1,000 - $1,200. Not something that goes bad on that car very often.

the threads may have lifted from block. I have seen only a few but it happens.

personal 400, mechanic 2200. need a lot of special tools, FYI. Stripped head bolts and bad gasket is a common problem with the 2AZ-FE motor!!!
