How can I get rid of EGR code?

Hello, what code is it? If it's insufficient EGR flow, it's often due to the EGR passages in the engine - intake area - that restrict flow due to carbon build up. Naturally it could be a whole lot of things, but I'm guessing at one. Hands on testing and analysis of the trouble code present is needed.
