I have 2 cables going into one and connected to my positive terminal and on the negative side i believe there are 3 seperate going to the terminal is this correct? my battery keeps draining and its new. did i do this correct?
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. If all you did was replace the battery by removing the terminals and restoring them to the new battery, then there should be no question about whether it's attached properly. If your battery is draining, there's likely a component staying active after the vehicle is off. This is resulting in a parasitic draw. If this happens, you have to find out what is staying on by performing needed testing. Guessing out whether the battery is draining and verifying it is draining are two different things. I would recommend having a professional testing performed to find out what is happening to your battery.
