Battery Sparks While On

You said the battery "sparks", does it allow the car to start when you turn the ignition key? It is probably just loose battery connections at the battery maybe bad battery cable that needs to be replaced. Maybe .5 or .6 hour to repair. Have a friend or neighbor that has some knowledge of cars look at the car and give their opinion.
